“Stellar Tactics will be regularly updated with fixes, polish, improvements, and content during the remaining months of Early Access. Your feedback, comments and suggestions are very welcome as I work toward completing the game.

Disclaimer: Though all the features released to Early Access are ready for feedback, there may be unexpected issues and some added features may not be as polished as I'd like them to be. I'd recommend purchasing the Early Access version of the game only if you want to support the development of Stellar Tactics. Please review the Stellar Tactics Roadmap in the discussion forums.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I'm not sure. I am committed to making Stellar Tactics the best game it can be and much will depend on your feedback and support. I'll be adding content constantly as development progresses, tuning game play based on feedback and implementing features listed in the Stellar Tactics Roadmap, posted in the discussion forums.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I'm wrapping up the core feature set of the game. Right now the game includes the prologue, chapters 1 and 2 (of 3) of the game, and the sandbox universe. The majority of the core systems are in the game right now. Here are a few of the things that need to be done before the game is considered complete:

• more devices for use in space and ground combat
• additional hand-crafted story content
• tuning and adjustments to the combat system, economy, and progression
• more information can be found in the roadmap on the forums”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of the game is fully playable and includes the prologue, two story chapters and most supporting features. The game also currently contains the entire universe sandbox and can be played for many hundreds if not thousands of hours. I'm currently working on adding the final story chapter, polish, and tuning.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Stellar Tactics price may go up, down or stay the same during and after Early Access. I'm not expecting to change the price, but it is possible.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm always looking to gather insightful feedback and ideas from the game community. I'm particularly interested in suggestions for improvements on the game systems, balance, story and the core game experience. I'll be interacting with the community through the Steam Discussions forum, carefully considering feedback and sharing my decisions on changes to the game that are community driven.”

With 10,000 sectors, tens of thousands of solar systems, and millions of planets to discover, you can explore, fight, and trade to your heart’s content as you build a party of seasoned veterans to dominate the challenges of deep space.

You are a genetically engineered mercenary who is woken from cryostasis after your escape pod is rescued. It has been years since a disaster struck the colony ship you were stationed on. Much has changed in the galaxy. A disease known as Phage is mutating and slowly consuming worlds while the galactic powers fight for supremacy and control. You must assemble a crew and choose your path while navigating the intricate politics and dangerous foes you will meet in your travels.

Can you find the source and end the Phage before it consumes the entire galaxy? Will you choose one of the political powers with which to ally yourself or stay strictly a mercenary for hire? The choice is yours.

Stellar Tactics combines the turn-based combat of classic RPGs such as Fallout with space exploration in a massive open-world universe. On the ground, explore space stations, ancient ruins, caves, planetary bases and interact with a variety of characters - each with their own goals and objectives.

Engage in turn-based tactical combat against mutants, monsters, and hostile forces such as raiders, pirates, and scavengers, with every weapon having its advantages and disadvantages. Harness the formidable power of Psionics, and an ancient alien force - Azimuth.
